Maurin and Martin arrived from Paris in the morning. We had lunch picnic with Pasta Salad and Tart made by Martin. Yammmm!
We went to Local Farmer who can directly sell her vegetables to us. We got 15kg of Potato, 7kg of Zucchini, 5kg of Onion…. a lot of goodies!
Artichoke. I did not know it looks like this as a plant.
She actually did not have enough stock in her garage so we went to pick them in the field. This is the best shop ever.
There was a donkey in her garden. He was making the “Donkey sound” as an authentic donkey. Maurin made friend with him.
Nice fixing of a basket. Practical aesthetic.
After the dream shopping, we had to get back to the reality and go to big supermarket to do the rest of the shopping. Yes, this is 7days food for 30 people! and I am sure we run out of chocolate.
While the shopping is happening, back at Paillard Ingo, Anja and James are setting up the exhibition space. For attention to detail and “authenticity” they even dirty the power supplies!
Pauline, Beam and Hannah are filling the Swatchbooks with first swatch pages!
And for dinner we all cook moules and something close to ratatouile.
