DIY Colour Sensor

Make a colour sensor using very basic and cheap components.
Before you start, download these source files

Ingredients:
– Neoprene
– Conductive thread
– RGB LED
– Photocell
– 220 ohm resistor
– 1.7 Kohm resistor

Preparation:
– build a neoprene wearable belt following the pattern,
– follow the schematic to create the circuits with components
– add a 3dprinted (in white pla) calibration chamber
– upload sketch to Arduino
– calibrate the sensor :
+ start Processing Sketch
+ cover calibration chamber with white cap
+ wait until the LED flickers
+ cover the calibration chamber with black cap
+ wait until the LED flickers
+ now you are ready to feed the sensor with coloured objects!
