My work is a presentation of a multisensory experience, through the research and development of smart textile material for the body that is intimate, sensitive and loud. I am from Santa Monica, California. I decided to leave the west coast and all of its wonderful weather to explore the city of Baltimore and the greater east coast to complete my undergraduate education at the Maryland Institute College of Art. She graduated in 2013 with a B.F.A. in fibers with a minor in creative writing and a concentration in sound art. Next I moved to the Windy City, where I graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with an MFA in Fiber and Material Studies in 2015. In the fall I will be teaching a high school course titled “Conceptual Clothing”.
